YELLOW DOT PROGRAM
Community Connections has partnered with the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Department to bring the Yellow Dot program to Findley Lake. This program is designed to help first responders provide immediate care whether in your home or responding to a car accident. Yellow Dot Kits are available in our office.

REFLECTIVE HOUSE NUMBERS
Community Connections was awarded a grant from the Johnson Foundation in Jamestown, NY. Community Connections decided to use a portion of the grant towards the purchase of reflective house number signs for the safety of its residents. This program was in collaboration with the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Department. It is being continued through the donation from the Findley Lake Fire Department's Women's Auxiliary.

R.S.V.P.
As members of the Retired Senior Volunteer Program, Community Connections offer smultiple free services such as shopping, retrieving mail, running errands, or transportation to and from your doctor's office. The RSVP is a branch of the Senior Corps administered by the Corp for National and Community Services, a federal agency.

R.U.O.K.
This program is a free service that allows a daily check on your well-being. This automated phone system service is administered by the Chautauqua County Sheriff's office and sponsored by Community Connections. The system allows you to receive one or two automated phone calls a day to assure you are "OK."

HIICAP COUNSELING
Community Connections has sponsored two of its directors to become certified Health Insurance Information Counselors. This allows Community Connections to serve as an information source for anyone with questions about their Medicare insurance.

MEDICARE SAVINGS PROGRAM
Your Medicare Part B fee is automatically deducted from your Social Security check. Your monthly social security payment could be returned to you if you qualify.

LEGAL ASSISTANCE
Free legal assistance is available to seniors at least 60 years of age. This program is offered in conjunction with the Office for Aging via a New York State grant.
