☀️ As summer approaches, June brings a vibrant lineup of events created to bring neighbors, friends, and families together. From educational workshops and community gatherings to fun seasonal activities, there are plenty of opportunities to connect, learn something new, and make lasting memories. We look forward to seeing you out and about this month!
Our “Live ‘n Learn” events are designed to inspire curiosity, friendship and enjoyment all month long.

Monday / Wednesday / Friday — Yoga by Zoom from home — 8:45 - 9:45 a.m. This is Vinyasa Yoga: flowing sequences linking breath to movement.🧘
Tuesdays — Coffee Hour — 9 - 10 a.m. Weekly coffee (and tea!) hour Tuesday mornings, in the Communi-Tea Room. Join friends and neighbors. Coffee, tea and water are provided. RSVP not needed - just join!
Tuesdays — Mahjong & Mexican Train (Dominos) — 1:00 p.m. in the Communi-Tea Room. Choose the game you’d like to play or simply join to watch the fun.
Mondays & Wednesdays — Chair Yoga — 3 p.m. every week. Chair Yoga with Johanna in the Communi-Tea Room. Call to reserve your seat and join in the gentle stretching program.
Thursday Evenings — Let’s Play Card Games — 6 - 8 p.m. in the Communi-Tea Room. Let’s Play Card Games, hosted by Pam and Keith Kadish. Bring your cards and friends or join others! We will play cards every Thursday evening! Join in the fun! ♥️ ♦️ ♠️ ♣️
June 5, 12, 19, 26 — Learn Line Dancing — 3 - 4 p.m. in the Community Center Cafeteria. Want to learn how to Line Dance (or refresh what you know)? Join Gayle Scadden on Fridays.
June 10 — Sunset Sounds on the Lake — 6 p.m. at the Gazebo on Main Street. Kick off summer with the summer concert series! Bring your lawn chairs and listen to the blended sounds of Jesse Taylor Smith and Jeremy Jaeger from 6 - 7:30 p.m. Covering many different music genres - acoustic favorites, country, rock and original music! 🎶
June 11 — Let’s Remember JoAnn Malecki with Yarn Crafting — 1 p.m. in the Communi-Tea Room. With the help of Pam Kadish and Barb Cooper, we’ll create JoAnn’s favorite flower, the sunflower, using some of her yarn. 🌻
June 12 & 26 — Bingo — 1 p.m. in the Communi-Tea Room. Winners will be entered into a raffle to win a gift basket. Come join in the fun!
June 18 NEW DATE: June 19 — Findley Lake “Rooted in Nature” Nature Walk — 1 p.m. at the Community Center Pavilion. Join Donna Winfield for a casual guided walk among the trees of Findley Lake on the nature trails. Please call the office at (716) 769-2473 to reserve a spot by June 15. ☔️ 💨 🌱 NOTE: today’s nature walk has been moved tomorrow, 6/19 at 1 p.m. due to rain and high winds.
June 24 — Macy’s Day Parade with the Phelps Grandchildren — 1 p.m. in the Communi-Tea Room. Meet Stella, Brady and Liam - grandchildren of Darla and Terry Phelps. They had the opportunity to go with their high school band, Catawba Ridge, South Carolina, and play at the Macy’s Day Parade on November 25, 2025. Join in as they share their experience!
June 25 — Garden Tours — 9:30 a.m. Meet at the Gazebo to tour three gardens and enjoy lunch in between. Our first two gardens are at the homes of Becky Faulkner and Pam Kadish. Lunch will be at approximately 12 noon (place TBD), followed by the garden at the home of Debbie Thresher. Call the office at (716) 769-2473 to reserve a spot and for more information. Reservations are needed for this event.
June 27 (Saturday) — Zoomer Summer Kickoff - “Bonfires & Brews” at Peek’n Peak — 6 p.m. Meet at the Gazebo Grill at Peek’n Peak on Saturday evening to enjoy live music from “Two for Flinching”. Bring a lawn chair and get ready for summer fun! Live music, lawn games, s’mores, fire pits and more. Food and beverages are available for purchase. Pets are welcome. RSVP by June 25th by calling (716) 769-2473.
