December 2025
Monday / Wednesday / Friday — Yoga by Zoom — 8:45 - 9:45 a.m.
Tuesdays — Mahjong & Dominos & Mexican Train — 1:00 p.m. in the Communi-Tea Room. Choose the game you’d like to play or simply join to watch the fun.
Tuesdays — Coffee Hour — 9 - 10 a.m. Weekly coffee (and tea!) hour Tuesday mornings, in the Communi-Tea Room. Join friends and neighbors. Coffee, tea and water are provided. RSVP not needed - simply join!
December 5 & 19 — Bingo — 1 p.m. in the Communi-Tea Room. Winners will be entered into a raffle to win a gift basket. Come join in the fun!
December 4 & 11 — Make a Gingerbread House — 1:00 p.m. in the Communi-Tea Room. We will spend two Thursdays making gingerbread houses with Ginny Keim. If you cannot come to both Thursdays, it’s okay - just come to the one you can, or join for both!
December 13 (Saturday) — Holiday Jingle & Mingle — 2 - 4 p.m. in the Communi-Tea Room. Join for this festive holiday event! Food and beverages provided by Compass Bar and Grille. Guest speaker: Ginny Keim who will share a brief history of gingerbread houses. No fee, donations appreciated. Seating is limited! Reserve your seat by December 8th by calling the office at (716) 769-2473.
December 16 (Tuesday) — Visit a New Findley Lake Business + Lunch/Dinner — 1 p.m. Visit a New Business in Findley Lake, Organic Blooms - December 16th at 1 p.m.! Join for an educational tour of Organic Blooms, followed by lunch/dinner at Alexander’s on the Lake. Meet us at 1 p.m. at Organic Blooms, located at 2971 Route 426, Findley Lake. Call (716) 769-2473 to let us know if you will join one or both events.
December 18 — Special program at special time - Interactive Discussion about Italian and American Christmas Traditions — 11:30 - 12:30 p.m. in the Communi-Tea Room. Please join Laura Scaramello (founder of Parla Italiano, a live, online platform for teaching Italian) live from Lake Cuomo, Italy, for an hour of interactive discussion about Italian and American Christmas traditions. Share your personal traditions and Laura will share hers. Learn some Italian holiday words for fun! Lin and Marlene are in their 4th “semester” of learning Italian with Laura and her amazing teachers. Laura graciously volunteered to present a holiday program to our Findley Lake group. Bonus - Pizza will be served at no cost! Come enjoy good food, fun and a uniquely good time! RSVP is imperative so we may plan for the proper amount of food. January 15 — Parkinson’s 101 — 1 p.m. in the Communi-Tea Room. Did you know that every six minutes, someone is diagnosed with Parkinson’s? Lynn Gotham, from the Parkinson Partners of NWP will join to share valuable information.
January 19 — Food for Thoughts 2025 — 11:30 - 1 p.m. in the Findley Lake Community Center. You give us your thoughts and we give you “food”. We’d love to have you join! Reservations are required by January 14. Call the office at (716) 769-2473.
January 29 — Let’s get ready for Valentine’s Day — 1:00 p.m. in the Communi-Tea Room. Let’s get ready for Valentine’s Day with Barb Cooper. We will be making woven hearts with felt and porcelain-like hearts. Please join us for fun and conversation!
